Hansada Yoga Ashram is a non-profit Yoga and Spiritual Meditation Centre. It is located 25 km east of Kathmandu on the hill-top of Charitrapur, Janagal Village, 3 km west of Dhulikhel. The view from the Ashram provides a vista of panoramic beauty of Himalayan range. It has calm environment, tranquil surrounding, unspoiled virgin climate with cool breeze, green forest cover, unpolluted air and clean spring water. The buildings at the Ashram are surrounded by beautiful, well-looked after gardens which, along with bordering green forests, rejuvenate the spirit of visitor to the Ashram. The visitor will find the Ashram divinely ordained and serene to achieve nirvana with reverence to the nature. The Ashram at Charitrapur appears magical at dawn. The breeze is cool. The sky takes on a ripe hue, as the sun peeps out from Mt. Everest range.

he Ashram is managed under the blessings and guidance of His Holiness Swami Satchitanand Visuddhadeva. Swami Visuddhadeva is a well-learned, enlightened, Yogi. He had formal education with post-graduate separate degrees in physics, political science and philosophy from the University of Delhi. After completing the formal education, he joined Veda Foundation in Delhi and learned various Vedas, Puran, Yoga and Ayurveda. He acquired special education in Kailash Ashram of Hari Dwar and spent several years in Himalayan Caves in meditation and yoga and received enlightenment. He traveled to different parts of India, countries in Europe and America. Since 1982, he has made in Nepal his abode for yoga and dissemination of spiritual meditation practices. 

Activities:

v     Swamiji delivers special lectures on eastern as well as western philosophies, on human character and on stato-dynamic Yoga. He conducts the classes both with lectures and dialogue.

1.    Other spiritual teachers give lectures on various aspects of philosophy including Vedic philosophy.
2.    Well-experienced Yogis hold practical classes on Stato-dynamic Yoga and on meditation with a close vigilance of Swamiji.
3.    Teaching of character science
4.    Practice of Pranayam
5.    Yoga trekking
6.    One can also get an auspicious advantage of personal meeting with Swamiji
7.    The devotees are advised to conduct according to the disciplinary measures of the Ashram.
8.    In the Ashram one has to live as a Yogi and devotee, and is exhorted to do service to the Ashram.
9.    In the Ashram, one can walk in the garden in the morning and in the evening to enrich the mind with freshness and tranquility, and one can observe many other things to promote spiritual joy.

v     7 days standard Stato-Dynamic Yoga
v     15 days intermediate course.
v     90 days advanced course.
v     120 days - one can complete the whole course.
