Grade
B
Any
one, who is physically fit can enjoy this grade of trip. Normally the elevation
does not cross over 10,000ft and walking path is easier with local villages.
Tea house trekking is possible in this grade of trek and can be organized
round the year.
Grade
C
To
do this grade of trip some hiking experience is desired. Normally trips
are longer than10 days and elevation goes over 15,000ft + with ups &
downs. Winter and summer are not suitable for the trek as the heavy rain
or snowfall may disturb the trek.
Grade
D
Trekkers
need to be familiar with the mountain walking and possess fair degree of
stamina. Daily walking involves long distance and high passes going ups
and downs. (doctor's certificate is required ). Elevation goes beyond
18,000 + ft.
2.
CLOTHING
Warm
clothing are always a must for the trip. All trekking gears such as, down
jacket, sleeping bags, shirts, comfortable walking shoes, long johns, trousers
and skirts, sweaters, jackets, dust masks, shocks, sun hats, sun glasses,
suntan lotion, utility knife, water bottles/thermos, flash lights, water
purifying tablets, first aid kit, toilet & tissue papers etc. are important
through out the trip.

HEALTH
Person
within good health can join our treks of Grade A & B. No special health
certificates etc are required yet ample walking ability is desired. However
for Grade C & D involves altitude & can be strenuous as it involves
long walk on each day on difficult path. Thus person having blood, lungs
& heart problems should consult their doctor before taking any decision
regarding trip. Simple headache, fever, loss of appetite or stomach disorder
can happen before acclimatization. We spent enough time for acclimatization
on each trek whenever or wherever required. Please note you are traveling
at your own risk all the times.
4.
ACCOMMODATION
We
will be arranging your accommodation while you are with us. We use high
altitude two men tents for night stops supported by toilet, kitchen and
dinning tents. Tented accommodation includes two men tent with mess tent
for kitchen and toilet tents for toilet. Tent for just single person can
be arranged after the payments of single supplement. If you wish to do
the tea house trek staying in local lodges we provide you the rooms at
local lodges and your food will be cooked by local cooks at each lodges.
Rooms here are basis and do not have facilities of attached bathrooms or
hot or cold showers.
5.
TREKKING PERMITS AND ENTRANCE FEES
Most
of the trekking areas are located in National parks and require National
park entrance fees. His Majesty’s Government has waved the Trekking permit
fees for Everest Areas, Annapurna and Langtang Areas. However National Park
entrance fees are still applicable. Trekking permits are required to other
than above areas which we have mentioned at each trekking areas.
