In private  tours you can spend as much time as you wish as you will have your private guide and transfers and can tailor your tours as you wish.

In this tour  we travel one way by land through friendship highway and one way we travel by flight. This trip explores towns like Lhasa, Gyantse, Shigatse, Shegar, Zhangmo in Tibet

The tour is more adventurous than the pleasure as it invloves rough and long driving of 6-7 hours each days crossing passes high pass of 5220m. During summer we will have change vehicles for more than three times due to landslides and road blockage. So you need to be fit and able to walk if required and travel by truck if available.The travelling route always depends upon your origin and destination.

If you are traveling back to Nepal from Lhasa we fly to Lhasa and drive back to Kathmandu but the route dependes on the road condition, flight condition and situation in Tibet. So it may be drive n & fly out OR fly in and drive out.

If you plan to fly further to China from Tibet after finishing the program, we will have no option but to drive you Lhasa from Kathmandu which is almost a thousand km drive.

We would also recommend this tour to you if you are arriving Lhasa from China and wish to continue your trip to Nepal by land

If you are unable of traveling by land to Lhasa from Kathmandu due to road condition this might be the option for you to explore most part of Tibet. The only part you miss here from Tour 3.1 is Sakya Monastery and views of some mountains. But there are more places to visit in this tour and less driving than Tour 3.1 as this tour also include SAMYE Monastery and the town of Tsedang which Tour 3.1 does not cover. But yes the cost might go little up due to the flight fare and the rates of the hotels at this part.

The access is easier as we travel both way by flight from Kathmandu leaving on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Thursdays (Thrusdays- from July to October only)

In this tour we visit six place in Lhasa staying 3 nights there, 4 places in Tsedang (Including Samye Monastery) staying 2 nights there and 2 places each at Gyantse and Shigatse spending 01 nigh at each places. The road at this side is not as rough a in Tour 3.1 or overland back road to Kathmandu.

TOUR : TP08 (EVEREST ENCOUNTERS)
Mt. Everest, the goddess of earth & the tallest mountain in the world, is always a dream destination for human beings. Gone were the days when people had to walk all the way from India to get a glimpse of the famous peak. But with the development of various infrastructure in this corner of the world it is now getting much easier to reachhere. The easiest access available is drive through Friendship highway from Kathmandu or Lhasa to Everest base camp. It is just a matter of a week journey from Kathmandu or Lhasa

This is the shortest trip available to reach Mt. Everest Basecamp any way. This tour will help you to reach there from Kathmandu just in 7 days.

We drive you through Friendship high way up to Tingri and turn south from there to reach Everest Basecamp in a day. After completing immigration formalities the first night is spent either in Zhangmo or at Nyalam ; the Second night is spent  Tingri which is about 7 hours from Zhangmo. On the Third day of the trip we leave Friendship highway and head for Everest base camp. We spend the 3rd night at Rongbuk exploring Monastery and other sites and the 4th night at Everest basecamp exploring the basecamp and glacier. On the 5th night we return to Tingri visiting village enroute.The 6th night is spent in Zhagno or at Nyalam and on the 7th day of the trip you are bck to Kathmandu.

At Rongbuk & Everest Basecamp we will support you with our staff of Cook and helpers  and overnight will be at tents or if you wish you could also use Monastery at Rongbuk for overnight stay. In other place like Tingri & Zhangmo or Nyalam we stay at hotel or guest houses. While stying at camp your meals are prepared by our cooks and breakfast, lunch and dninner are included. But at hotels you are paying for your own meals except breakfast.

This is just an extension of Tour 8.3. In adition to places of interest of Tor 8.3 we aso visit teh town of Tsedang which is 300 kms from Lhasa. We spend two nights in Tsedang with sightseeing of Samye Monstery, Yambulakhang, Thombs of Tibetan Kings, Thandruk etc. Extension of 2-3 days can be made with excursion from Lhasa to Ganden or Tshurpu Monastery but extra cost is applicable.
