In this section we feature various program and prices for tours to Bhutan. Please visit Trekking (Bhutan) for trekking in Bhutan.  Tours  to Bhutan are planned on the basis of flight connections between Bhutan and Kathmandu. Our tours provide you a variety of places of interest and destination. There are tours from 4 to14 days. Please feel free to contact us if you have any special and specific plan in mind as we also specialize in tailor made tours, festival tours and special incentive and corporate tours/ treks etc.

Tour program presented here are easy and easily accessible by vehicle or a short walk. These trips cover different parts of the kingdom every time but from Day 01 to Day 03 are always similar. While on the tour we stay in Tourist class hotels/Guest house wherever available. These tours can be operated round the year except some that are a bit difficult during Summer and Winter due to heavy rainfall and snowfall. TOUR B01: EXPERIENCE BHUTAN
ITINERARY

Day 01	Arrive Paro and transfer to hotel. Welcome drink & orientation talk in the evening .
Day 02	Morning drive to the old ruins of Drugyel Dzong and a visit to the Ta Dzong, National Museum. After lunch a 2 hour drive to Thimphu. On the way visit the Smthokha Dzong, built in 1627 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, o/n Thimphu.
Day 03	Sightseeing tour of Memorial Chorten, Handicraft Emporium, Tashichho Dzong.
Day 04	Drive to Paro with a visit to Punakha and Wargdi, o/n hotel.
Day 05	Drive to airport for departure flight.

TOUR B02: WESTERN BHUTAN
ITINERARY

Day 01	Arrival Paro; transfer to hotel followed by welcome drink and orientation talk O/n.
Day 02	Morning drive to Drukgyel Dzong 18 Kms. away from the hotel. On the way back visit a typical Bhutanese farmhouse and sightseeing trip to Paro Bazar. After lunch  drive to Ta Dzong which houses the National Museum followed by a short walk to Paro Rimpung Dzong.
Day 03	A short drive to Satsam Chortan. From there 2 hour trek to Taktsang Monastery; Lunch at Tea House followed by a short walk to Satsam Chorten and 2 hour drive to Thimphu. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04	Sightseeing of Memorial Chorten, National Library. Handicrafts Emporium and Tashichho Dzong.
Day 05	A 3 hour morning drive to Punakha across the Dochula Pass. On the way light refreshments will be served at Dochula Cafe. Lunch at Khuru Camp. After lunch visit Punakha Dzong. Overnight at Khuru Camp.
Day 06	In the morning visit a typical farm house where traditional buttered tea with "zaw" (puffed rice) will be served. Visit Wangdi Fodrang & return to Khuru Camp.
Day 07	Drive to Dochula for lunch. After lunch drive to Paro. Evening visit Paro bazaar.
Day 08	Early morning drive to Paro Airport for departure.

TOUR B03: BHUMANTHANG/CENTRAL BHUTAN CULTURAL TOUR
In addition to places of interest in Paro, Thimphu and Punakha, another fascinating destination is the sacred valley of Bumthang. The picturesque drive to Bumthang takes you through regions profuse in flora and fauna, several magnificent mountain passes and places of great historical importance. The Tongsa Dzong is a prime example. It is by far the largest Dzong in the country and was in olden times the seat of the dominant power in feudal Bhutan.

A three hours drive from Tongsa takes you up to a height of 12000 feet (Yotola pass) and then down to 9000 feet to the valley of Bumthang. Considered the most sacred valley, Bumthang has a rich variety of religious, historical sites and ancient palaces of the ruling family of the valley. The cultural trip of Bumthang also includes a three days walking excursion to the sanctified spot where Guru Padmasambhava meditated. He was a great saint who converted the Bhutanese from pagan worshippers to peace loving Buddhists.

TOUR B04: EAST WEST TRAVERSE
This tour takes you right across the country along the lateral highway and gives you glimpses of ethnic groups of Dukpas different in their dialects and customs. It offers you maximum coverage of the country.
Itinerary

Day 01	Arrival at Paro. O/n.
Day 02	Sightseeing of Paro. O/n.
Day 03	Visit to Takstang. O/n Paro.
Day 04	Drive to Thimphu. PM: S/S.
Day 05	To Punakha over Dochula.
Day 06	S/S of Punakha Dzong & Wangdi & toTongsa
Day 07	AM:Tongsa S/S and short walk to Ta Dzong (Watch Tower) with some leisure time inTongsa Bazaar. After lunch 3 hrs drive to Bumthang valley across the Yotongla pass.
Day 08	S/S of Kurji, Tamshing and Konchusum Lhakhangs, Jagar Dzong and Chamkha bazaar.
Day 09	Morning drive to Sengor, enroute see Membertso (The burning lake) and proceed to Ura Valley; visit Ura Lhakhang. O/n at rest house.
Day 10	Drive to Mongar, sightseeing of Mongar Dzong and bazaar. O/n at rest house.
Day 11	Drive  Korila pass to Tashigang. S/S of Tashigang Dzong & bazaar, O/n  rest house.
Day 12	Excursion drive to Tashi Yangtse and Gom Kara Temple. O/n at rest house.
Day 13	Drive to Samdrup Dzongkha. Enroute visit Kanglung College (Only college in Bhutan). Zgangto pelri & Khaling to see traditional weaving centre. o/n rest house.
Day 14	After breakfast drive to Gauhati (India) for departure from the country.

TOUR B05: DAY WALKING TOURS
Guided Day-Walk tours include 5/6 hours walk a day with packed lunch and return to hotel for overnight. It gives an opportunity to visit and view local villages and have direct contact with local people. It also gives ample time to take photographs. Hot lunch and tea is arranged in local farm houses. Occasionally, it will be possible to participate in local sports, folk dances etc.

These trips can be organized from 5 days to 15 days according to season and no of PAX traveling together. Please note day walking tours are not TREKKING.

TOUR B06: BICYCLE TOUR - ACROSS BHUTAN
Bhutan’s Mountainous terrain offer a fascinating adventure for bicycling enthusiasts. The route along Bhutan’s West-East Highways (approx. 600 kms) is an exciting route with challenges surmounting a new pass over 3000 meters everyday. The highways winding up and down mountain’s with drops of thousands of feet keep one too high on adrenaline to feel the slightest pinch of monotony. As one progresses along the route, there is a discernible change in the flora and temperature when one gradually descends, from the alpine heights, into the temperate regions of the East. All along the route the interruption by picturesque, and almost medieval, villages and towns rich in cultural spots make a welcome diversion.

ITINERARY

Day 01 :	Arrival at Paro & transfer to hotel.  O/n at hotel.
Day 02 :	Full day sightseeing in  Paro.
Day 03 :	Commence cycle tour to east cross Dochula pass and camp at Khuruthang. O/n.
Day 04 :	After Punakha Dzong, continue towards Gangte gompa via Wangdiphodrang.
Day 05 :	Back to Norbuling and then cross Pelela pass towards Tongsa Dzong. O/n Tongsa.
Day 06 :	Cycle up to Yotola and then down to Dumkhar and Chumi & onward to Bumthang.
Day 07 :	S/S of Bumthan valley. O/n.
Day 08 :	Cycle to Ura and then to Sengor.
Day 09 :	To pass & down to Kuru Zam..
Day 10 :	A short climb to Mongar Dzong and rest.
Day 11 :	Cross Lorela pass to Tashignag, administrative headquarters of Eastern Bhutan o/n.
Day 12 :	Day trip to Kanglung college Bhutan’s only English medium University. O/n
Day 13 :	Return trip by to Mongar.
Day 14 :	Return trip by driving to Tongsa. O/n.
Day 15 :	Return trip to Thimpu.
Day 16 :	Thimphu sightseeing.
Day 17 :	Thimphu sightseeing.
Day 18 :	Drive to Paro for departure .
