In this tour you have option of flying one way or both from Kathmandu or main land (China). Please note that that if you wish to fly both way from Kathmandu the tour starts on Saturdays coming back to Kathmandu on Tuesdays. However, if you  wish to fly from main land China you can fly any day as there are daily flights to Lhasa from Chengdu.

TOUR F03
This is the most popular travel route for tourist in Tibet. The rural Tibetan settlements, high water falls (in Nepal side), ancient monasteries, spectacular views of country side and stunning views of some of the world highest mountains including Mt. Everest make this trips so special for travelers. 
This is an adventure travel not only because it involves long drives on dirt road but also because of high passes and rough driving. The trip starts from 1300m in Kathmandu and crosses the pass as high as 5200m. Traveling in a dusty (muddy in summer) and bumpy road at high places makes this trip special to adventure travelers. The spectacular view from the flights between Kathmandu and Lhasa is also an experience of life time. Even though the flight lasts for 55 minutes only, it is one of the best flight in the world which crosses Mt. Everest and surrounding mountain ranges showcasing Himalayan panorama. 
The road is very rough and unstable which gets blocked during summer by floods and landslides. So we will have to either walk or drive by truck or whatever is available in between landslides. If we will have to hire such trucks on the way extra cost for the same should be borne by the traveling members which will be approximately US$ 6-10 per traveler. 

The trip leaves every Saturdays from Kathmandu and you must arrive Kathmandu at least 4 days before departure to join this trip (for visa arrangement). Please note that this trip can be done either way i.e. Driving in to Tibet (usually) and Flying out of Tibet OR Flying into Tibet and driving out (occasionally)
